Tyre Insurance – What to Do in Case of Damage?

For insured tyres bought prior to 18 January 2018:

1. Please notify our service centre about the damage on your insured tired immediately after it occurs under the free phone number 00800 855 588 58.
2. The insurance coverage will be examined straight away and your replacement tyre will be sent out within one working day.
3. The replacement tyre(s) will be delivered to the delivery address of your service partner. Please contact your service partner to arrange a date for changing the tyre.
4. In case of tyre damages through vandalism, the police notification and record are required for an insurance claim.

For insured tyres bought after 18 January 2018:

  • Please order your replacement tyre directly on giga-tyres.ie so you can use your car again as fast as possible. Usually, your replacement tyre will be sent out within one working day. The replacement tyre(s) will be delivered to the delivery address of your service partner. Please contact your service partner to arrange a date for changing the tyre.
  • Please notify us of the damage within 10 days on our online damage platform: Report tyre damage.
  • In case of tyre damages through vandalism, the police notification is required for an insurance claim.
