The All Season tires AP2 with its V-shaped profile is prepared for any weather. The good grip on wet and snowy roads, stands clearly in addition to the improved rolling resistance. The lower rolling resistance also reduces the fuel consumption. The double-layered steel reinforcement and the new 3-D sipes provide additional rigidity and better wet handling.
EU Tyre Label and Efficiency Classes
The European Union, under CE 1222/2009, has mandated that all tyres manufactured after the date of July 1 2012 for cars and commercial vehicles include standard EU Tyre Labels classifying them by three performance characteristics:fuel efficiency classified from A to G,wet grip classified from A to G, and noise emission in decibels.
Categories of tyres unaffected by this regulation include: retreaded tyres, professional off-road tyres, racing/sports car tyres, as well as certain types of tyres designed to improve traction such as studded tyres, T-type temporary spare tyres, tyres for cars built before 1990, tyres with a maximum allowed speed of 80km/h, tyres for rims with a diameter less or equal to 254 mm or greater or equal to 635 mm. This label is intended on one hand to promote economic and ecological efficiency in traffic, as well as increase road safety, and on the other hand to help consumers select appropriate tyres by ensuring a certain degree of product transparency.
Nevertheless, the label has been criticized for only showing a very limited number of characteristics. Professionals argue that tyres have many more features that are important and relevant to road safety, including but not limited to aquaplaning properties, driving stability, service life, product properties on wet and dry roads other than wet grip, properties on snow. Tyre manufacturers suggest that the test results from various institutions and industry magazines should remain a very important source of information for the end consumer, because they focus on and rate a wide variety of tyre properties and features.

10.08.2020 from Scott Creighton I feel the tyres give a reassuring grip in both wet and dry conditions. Unable to comment on snow conditions as have not experienced those conditions. The comfort of the ride has also improved from the previous tyres.
28.04.2020 from Dick Great tyres for the price.
Above expectations and would definitely buy these tyres again.
22.04.2020 from Ian Newcombe The difference in grip from the manufacturer's recommended tyre is dramatic - very good indeed and has provided much more assured level of grip and better confidence overall in general handling than I would have expected.
The Aygo is our fall back car and not used that often, only driven when others are either off road or being serviced and is used mainly for short journeys. That said, it has been like being given a new car and do not regret changing across to this tyre at all.
We've had this situation before with other Toyota models and in changing from their prescribed tyre or removing the high energy types of tyres they like to fit as standard works wonders on grip and handling generally. Fuel economy usually gets upset by around 10%, but, the benefits in handling and overall grip have been worth this small sacrifice.
19.02.2020 from Carl G Excellent tyres, much better than the Continental Eco Contact 3 tyres they replaced. Would definitely recommendand, will buy another set when required. Have not tried them in the snow yet but I am confident they will perform well. One final comment which may be of intrest to prospective customer is the noise( rather the lack of it) these tyres are considerably quiter than the Continentals they replaced.
