Very pleased. Not tested on snow but definitely confidence-inspiring and "grippy" in typical varied UK winter conditions. A lot better than typical UK habit of using summer/"all weather" tyres in the winter.

Comment:
Very good dry and wet grip for a winter tyre (much better than nordic type winter tyre). Good, but not optimum dry and wet steering response, precision and handeling (much better than nordic type winter tyre, but not as good as Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3). Very good dry braking end excellent wet braking. O.K. when new, but not satisfactory aquaplaning resistance when half worn. Good grip and handeling on ice and snow, but reduced grip, steering precision and response compared to nordic type winter tyre (especially when snow and slush gets deeper. Tire functions O.K. even under harsh winter condition when new and little worn for skilled driver and car with ABS and ESP.

Hele goede winterband met prima prestaties. Vergeleken met de Bridgestone Turanza ER30 zomerbanden zijn deze WinterContacts zelfs zeer stil! Door voor mensen die een goede en vooral stille winterband zoeken is deze TS 810 zeker het overwegen waard.
