i've just fitted these to the rear of my 330bhp impreza, they've just replace yokohama db500 and the grip for such a reasonable priced tyre is simply astonishing, very quick scrub in, very quiet, treadwear is excellent and wet grip is awesome, i've used all sorts of performance tyres inc toyo proxes, yoko a539, advan sport and db500's, michelin pilot sport, dunlop sp sport, and to be brutally honest these beat tham all hands down. saying that dry grip on the advan sport was possibly marginally better but in the wet the st-08 shines through. the firenza guys have really done their homework! i've got Autoguard s900 on the front and i wouldn't advise them although treadwear is amazing (5000miles and no sign of any wear) they are very spippery in wet and not that good in the dry either so they will soon be replaced with another pair of st-08's. i got a pair of st-08 215-45/17 on ebay for just under £100 delivered and honestly it's the best £100 i've spent so far. i'll write a further review in another few thousand mile and update on how they're surviving

Comment:
Noisy, uncomfortable, high rolling resistance, but good grip and breaking under wet conditions.
