Comment:
I was surprised when these tires were installed-the technician balancing the tire/wheel asmbly (stock 8" wide Formula alum wheels) said he NEVER used so little weight on a tire, let alone so little on all 4 on a vehicle... I was then surprised at the great ride- I verified the pressure- 31lbs frt 30 r as ordered. on my 1st "frisky" launch (6spd manual)the engine bogged! The Yokohamas I replaced would freewheel with same start. Car: '02 Pontiac Firebird Formula Engine: 5.7ltre LS1 alum V8 385 rwhp@5600 rpm 425ft/lbtorque@ 5200rpm 3300lbs Trans: Getrag 6spd manual w/5th & 6th overdrive 3.42:1 rear axle w/ limited slip Koni shocks & struts performance change: Yokos: 0-60 mph = 5.0sec 1/4 mile = 13.6s@105mph HTRZ: 0-60 mph = 4.3sec 1/4 mile = 12.9s@107mph 0.7 sec faster 0-60mph! I did not add nitrous oxide just these tires! Then it rained. awesome rain tire- start-stop-turn as if it was dry with the Yokos. Now they are quite worn, but still work great dry & not slippery when wet. I am ashamed to say I have yet to rotate them, but after 26000 miles they have held up well, since I drag race alot and love a twisty road. I can stop so fast with these tires, when i let off the brake as it stops it will propel the car backward from sidewall elasticity unwinding. WEAR-I knew they were soft, but, at the price at Tire-easy.com I could buy 2+ sets of these for the cost of 1 set of high end Goodyears. If you drive like me, and you dont like these tires, no-one can help you. I had one slow leak from a large nail, had it repaired & thats it for problems. even without rotating, the right front tire has a slight bit more wear on the outside edge of the tread than the others-enjoy. By the way, I have a hard time trying to "drift" this car with these tires-too sticky guess I need more power & a tougher clutch. & more rear sway bar.

Comment:
These are the worst Z-rated tires I have ever had. They were a joke. I ended up selling them on Craigslist to get RID of them at a very big loss. They were the wobbliest, loosest, softest, most dangerous tires. I put them on the back of my GTO and immediately the car wobbled. It was like driving a Ski-Doo from 35 mph on up. The back end kept bouncing and kept swaying. I took them to a specialist who said they were just very cheap tires. I will never order from Tires-Easy again, nor will I ever order that brand again.
